Introducing
The Lighthouse, RCCM's future center for the performing arts.
Upon its completion, The Lighthouse will be a fulfillment
of a God-inspired vision given to Stephen Galvano over two
decades ago. The vision is to celebrate the message of hope
through the beauty and the power of the arts.
The Lighthouse is located in the
historic St. Bridget’s Cathedral in downtown Rochester.
St. Bridget’s is the region’s third oldest church,
constructed in 1874, but we believe it will be the region’s
newest awakening of artistic collaboration and excellence.
Since 2004, RCCM has been working to restore St. Bridget's
to its original grandeur. Interior renovations
have just begun, and the intricate, awe-inspiring beauty of
the cathedral is beginning to reveal itself once again.
From the majestic ceilings, to
the hand-crafted detail of the stained glass, to the distinct
acoustics of the cathedral's massive orchestra dome, this
cathedral will be a fitting venue to celebrate The Art
of a King.

Planning is underway for an amazing interactive experience called Miracle. This first attraction at the Lighthouse will intimately remind visitors of the miracle that took place over two thousand years ago that forever changed the course of history.
Miracle is a presentation that we are RCCM have been working on for nearly 2 years - and it will become a reality, Christmas 2009.
Miracle will be a world-class attraction that is sure to attract visitors from all around the region.
Visitors will be transported back to Nazareth for the grueling journey to Bethlehem, witness to moment of Christ birth, take a short visit to heaven, and see what's come of this miracle looking back over the past 2000 years.
